 - Launching of the "Walk for St. George" program.
- It was organized to collect donations to build three classrooms and to add to the number of computers in the school.

 - The Brother's Quarters were situated on the second and third floor of the right wing of the main buildin.
- Early in 2001, the green light was given by the Brothers to renovate the wing for school users.

--|> LAUNCHING OF THE ROTARY MULTIMEDIA ROOM BY THE RAJA MUDA

- On the 25th of October 2001, HRH RAJA Nazrin Shah IbniSultan Azlan Muhibbudin Shah came to our scholl upon the invitation of the Rotary Club presiden, Mr. Chuah Seong Boo. He then officially launched the Rotary Multimedia Lab.

- After 10 years of unselfish dedication and service, Pn Sujatha Vasanthan finally retired from her post as Principal of SGI.
- It was indeed a great loss for the Georgian community as a whole.

- 16th March 2003, saw the arrival of our new principal Miss Yoong Yok Yam.
- She holds a Diploma in Education and was a teacher at S.M King Edward VII.
- In the year 2000, she obtained an MSC in IT from USM.

|
- On the 26th of June 2003, canteen day was held to raise funds for the school.
- Open cafes similar to starbucks and Dome were the most popular among visitors.

--|> SGI's DEBATE TEAMS - CONTINUING A TRADITION

- Our 'Perbahasan' and English Debate Team won their respectivedistrict level competitions.
- Team also managed runners-up in the state level finals.

- The SGI choral speaking team - 2nd Place in district Level Choral Speaking Competition with their performance entitled'No ordinary Soul'
- Drama Team - 3rd Place in District Level Drama Competition with Tan Boon Kean winning the best actor award.

- Chuah Jia Peng, a swimming champion known as 'the lan Thorpe of Taiping', represented Perak in Sukma.
